MEC Mabe denies Premier Thandi Modise’s involvement in decision to impose sanctions and interest in awarding of tender

 

North West MEC for Finance, Louisa Mabe has dismissed allegations that North West Premier Mme Thandi Modise had influenced the implementation of sanctions placed on the Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport (DPWRT) as devoid of truth and mischievous tactics that she suspects are intended to stop further investigations into irregularities related to tenders awarded by the said department.  ........Read more

Departmental Budget Speech 2011/12

It is a great pleasure to present the plan of the Department of Finance for the year 2011/12. As I present our plan I will commence with the achievements, challenges, way forward for the department and finally the budget allocations per programme.

Mabe visits schools in Moses Kotane Municipality

The MEC for Finance Louisa Mabe visited four schools in the Moses Kotane municipality on the first two days of the re-opening of schools. The schools visited were Kgamanyane high and Ramono primary both in Moruleng village and Modise high and Mamodimokwana primary in Mantserre villages where the first day of the academic year started fairly well.
