Bojanala: The North West Provincial Treasury’s Provincial Supply Chain Management has concluded its district wide outreach programme throughout the week of 26th to 29th May 2026 across various local municipalities in the Bojanala District. This initiative is primarily aimed at assisting Entrepreneurs, Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs), and SMMEs to ensure that they become compliant with the relevant government databases.
The campaign focuses on supporting business owners with new registration process and updating their business details on the Central Suppliers Database and North West Business Enterprise Development databases. The department is partnering with key stakeholders, including SARS and DEDECT, to ensure seamless systems interface. The presence of these stakeholders plays a vital role in helping business owners and NPOs successfully register and remain compliant.
Business owners and entrepreneurs are reminded that all government services are provided free of charge and that both CSD and NWBED are self registration process. They should not hand over documents or money to any consultant claiming to be a CSD custodian offering registration assistance. This outreach forms part of the broader effort to build local economic growth across the province by empowering business owners and NPOs.
The campaign is designed to promote transparency and compliance by providing accurate information on how to access government procurement opportunities. By registering and updating their documents, business owners will be able to participate in these opportunities without unnecessary difficulties.
Other stakeholders, SARS, Productivity SA and National Lottery also joined the outreach to assist business owners and NPOs with funding models both financial and non-financial support thus ensuring the sustainability of their businesses. The outreach is committed to addressing challenges faced by business owners regardless of their location.
Through this initiative, the North West Provincial Treasury reaffirms its commitment to supporting business enterprises and NPOs by providing the necessary assistance with registration and document updates in the relevant databases.
