The North West Provincial Treasury’s Provincial Supply Chain Management (PSCM) would like
to caution all suppliers from responding to a fake and fraudulent Request for Quotation (RFQ)
document which is in a fake departmental letterhead dated 20 October 2025 for the
supply and delivery of 1000 units of FRADEX-14D STAPLER with contact numbers 018-
880 1009 / 078 775 4140: Enquiries: Keitumetse Monareng.
The department appeals to suppliers to avoid falling victims to the scam and not respond to this
Request for Quotation as it is fraudulent. Provincial Treasury is not in the process of procuring
the item mentioned in the document. Purchase orders for this RFQ are also fake.
Suppliers are also urged to verify all RFQs with the Department’s Supply Chain Management
unit 018-388 4060 before responding to such requests or contact the department in person.
The department apologizes for the inconvenience this fake and fraudulent RFQ and Purchase
Orders might have caused.
